S03, A question about fathers.

Who is Annikas father? The one they questioned said he found out he wasn't her father when her mother died.
Why did Emil tried to go to Paris to see his father? (Freddie?)
And Morten, was his father Freddie as well? (How old was Morten?)

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

reply

My understanding is that Freddie may have been a sperm donor

reply

Yes he was, but is he father to Morten?
And what about Annika?

reply

He is the father of Morten and Emil.
Don't know about Annika

And a very generous one as well. So far, it has been speculated on this board that
his progeny might include Rasmus, Emil, Morten, and Annika, as well as all the rest of the
foster children.

reply

Not a good success rate for producing balanced children...

He was also a very young sperm donor, it seems, in his teens. Is that possible?

That's about the ONLY thing a 17 year old boy can think about whether the sperm is wanted or not.

reply

Well Freddie appears to be in his 40s and Emil seems rather young, I don't know if they referenced his or Annika's ages (she seems a little older) so as far as him being Emil's father, it's very believable, Annika could probably fit in there too. Morten however seems older, maybe it's just a combination of PTSD from the war and premature balding.

reply

Freddie said he was 17 in 1984, which was when Annika was conceived. Annika is older than Emil, she was born in 1985 whereas he was born in 1989. Freddie could easily have donated sperm at 21 or 22.
