Will there be a 4th season?
I really love this series, will it be back?

Let's hope so! Here, I took the liberty to quickly run through a translator a piece on the swedish paper Aftonbladet:

"Bridge" can get a fourth season.
It stands or falls with one person, says creator Hans Rosenfeldt.
- It depends ultimately on whether Sofia Helin wants to be, he says to P4 Kalmar.
"Bridge" stands firmly as a hit in the TV schedules, viewing figures increase week after week.
Swedish Television's hit show is now broadcast in its third season, now opens the series creator Hans Rosenfeldt up for a fourth.
"If Sofia wants"
The work has gradually started with another season, if it becomes a reality or not stands or falls with one person.
- We're talking about a season four, but there is much that must fall into place before it is finished. There may be a fourth season, but it depends crucially on whether Sofia Helin want to be with. It would not be possible to do it without Saga Noren, he says to P4 Kalmar.

Sold to 160 countries
Bronze first two seasons have been sold to 160 countries. Rosenfeldt says that the character is the explanation for "Bronze" successes.
- Saga Norén is a huge part of the mainly foreign success, he says to the channel.
"We have the current situation no comments on a possible continuation," writes Sofia Helin's agent Peter Jansson Nöjesbladet.
Thanks for that. Fingers crossed she'll do one more season.

You have to agree that without Sofia Helin it couldn't possibility work. However I also think that you would need Thure Lindhardt now too who was a fantastic replacement for Kim Bodnia.
I wouldn't want to see Saga as the sole leader character or paired with another new partner.
Fingers crossed we will see them both back in a 4th season in the future.
Yes, I do agree with you. A chance to wrap things up in a final season would be so gratifying for fans.

I really hope so, it quickly became my favorite binge tv watch after the first few episodes.
Ive read they may stop at 3 series because others stopped at three, hopefully they dont, hopefully they pull a Breaking Bad and do 5 :) series 4 settling with Henrick and series 5 ending with Martin.
I think it must be planned to return. There's a ton of stuff they can now do in the 4th season.
Having said that the Scandinavian original version of The Killing ended with a massive cliffhanger & has no plans to return.
