They mentioned they were psychoactive stimulants. Any ideas what they might have been?

He's never too wired so I would think Likely some sort of mild prescription amphetamine; and yes he did go through bad withdrawal, but even weak narcotic type meds can lead to serious withdrawal after long term usage. I'm not sure what's street popular in Sweden, but if it was a US based show, I'd say something like ritalin, adderall, or one of the other weaker based brand name stimulants.
