Questions about S3 finale (spoilers of course)

Hello,

So I just watched all of these episodes today and yesterday and some things don't add up:

One, so Freddie was the father? All that about wanting to be a dad and he never mentioned the sperm donation? Maybe multiple donations?

Two, sure, Freddie is the father of Emil. But the father of Morten? When Emil is in the cell he says Helle Anker and Freddie Holst are his "creators"... But Helle didn't have another son, she was completely unrelated to him. She only had Morten. And Freddie clearly didn't remember her from when he was 17, so it's unlikely they met. And she definitely didn't take his sperm because the clinic had no record of her. So Freddie was a different father and Emil a different mother?? They are unrelated. Emil refers to Helle as creator and then his actual mother as dying making him lunch. Why get revenge on Helle and who is Morten to him?

Three, I can see killing the foster parents, if they kept him downstairs. And the child molesting teacher. But the others? As I said, Helle seemed unrelated. Hakan and Hans were just doing their jobs, oblivious. They had no idea. If he'd told either of them of the abuse, they'd have been moved. Freddie, dying to be a father, would probably have been very excited to hear from a son who grew up interested in art.

Four, how did he set up all of that at Annika's house without her noticing? Or did he move it after he kidnapped her?

Five, why shoot Lukas once, let him live and be smug and threaten police, then kill him with the three bullets in the street in front of many more witnesses?

Six, why make the whole thing revolve around abstract art, then tell the police it revolves around abstract art? Why not just kill them?

Seven, and I guess most importantly, how did Emil get the code for the clinic? And why contact Morten and give it to him? Why the confusing alphabets? Either he wanted to get caught or he didn't, leaving crazy clues doesn't do much. The clinic were very eager not to give away information, but Emil got hold of it somehow? And made it his email address? He was working at an art gallery, how does he have the funds to pay for a photographer full time anwyay? Emil is clearly unhinged, but not a millionaire. How did he find Hans and other people who went missing? How did he find that artist on Saltholm when the police couldn't do it?

And, finally, perhaps, the significance of the body parts? They theorise on "long arm of the law" "being heartless" and "maybe he saw something" but why the brains of the foster parents?

I guess I have a lot of questions, but all in all I thought the series was great and really enjoyable, the character development was stunning.

Freddie: was a spermdoner when he was young and probably didn't want anybody to know about it. And he didn't care about those kids at all.
Helle was the boss at the clinic therefor she was the "creator". She got herself pregnant with Freddies sperm and never told anybody about it. Then she felt sorry for Morten after he had been in the war and gave him the numbers to his unknown "brother" Emil.
Emil wanted to kill everybody that had done him wrong, before killing himself.
He kidnapped Annika first and then blamed her for everything so the police would let him go so he could finish what he had started.
If Lukas was the guy that smuggled drogs he was killed by another drug gang.
The art thing? Well, the guy was crazy and it was more fun for us to watch?
The question about the clinic is answered before.
The money? He probably took a loan.
He was always ahead of the police, even at Saltholm.
And he probably thought the foster father was brainless.
Does it make more sense now?

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

I think that number refered to Fredy as donor. Helle gave the number to Morten so he can find his father. When he was not successful he found his brother Emil because he was linked under the same number and told him everything. I don't remember Helle being linked to the clinic but maybe she is the creator because thanks to her he got to know the truth (she gave the number to Morten and started everything)? I maybe wrong (and probably spelled names wrong as I do not see original post while I typing this reply).

I still don't understand why he killed the clinic owner. And why would Helle try to cheer up her traumatized son with news that he came from a sperm donor? How would that help his life in any way. So dumb

How did Emil get Fat Freddy to the island?

Is it implied that Annika treated Emil badly? I don't think they directly said it but maybe he just needed someone to pin the murders on.

I don't understand the branding and what the purpose was. Where would he get the brands made? Emil would have needed like ten assistants to pull this off.

I don't understand how he had the resources moneywise to pull all of this off.

How do you get an untraceable hotmail account?

I don't understand why he just didn't approach Freddy and say "I'm your son, nice to meet you." Since Freddy wanted a son so much anyways.

I don't understand why they showed that guy Claus killing his father. Unless I guess they had to create a reason for Annika to black mail him which in turn made us suspect her for a few episodes.

If Emil wished he had never been born, how would go around killing people help? It's like he decided to be regretful about being born and become a serial killer at the same time. IT would have made more sense if he was a serial killer first, a monster, to regret being born because he was a monster.

Anyways I loved this show and even this crappy plot was interesting to watch with the pacing and acting of this show.

Helle was the reason for him being born. One of his creators. She wanted to give her son a brother, his father was dead and she had a new family where he didn't really fit in.
Freddy wanted a baby, not a grown up man. And Clas and Annika was just there for us not being able to figure out the real murderer.
Emil was just about to kill himself when his "brother" came to see him, he just snapped.
But he did alot of thing by himself and must have had alot of money...
And it is after all just fiction!
