Message that the doctor told to Linn

In season 3 episode 10 there is a specific part where the legist doctor tell Linn something. I think the content of the message was not told to the viewers.
What do you think? Maybe something about Saga?
Season 4?

When Linn later explained to Saga that the case concerning her mother's death was being passed to the prosecutor, she said "I don't think you did anything to your mother, but the forensic evidence can't be dismissed.". I assumed that the reference to "forensic evidence" related to the earlier scene with the doctor that you describe.

I actually think he was supporting Saga and giving evidence of mother and saga's sister. The forensic evidence is the nail in the car.

reply

After reading Ingeborgen's post I think he's right in that the doctor was informing Linn about the identification of Henrik's wife, and it had nothing to do with Saga at all. I was originally confused about that as I wondered why that information would come from him and then to Linn, but of course the body was found in Sweden.

I now think your right about the "forensic evidence": Linn wasn't referring to new evidence, but just what we already knew about, i.e. the nail.

He told her that the body they found in the mud was Henriks wife, it had nothing to do with Saga.

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

reply

I think so as well

reply

I thought the body of Henriks wife was found in Denmark, so it is not likely that a Swedish pathologist would be involved.

reply

Itwas the body he was examining in episode 7 when Saga came and talk to him.

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

It's interesting, do we even know how Saga's mother died? A nail in a car is hardly crucial evidence if the crime scene is elsewhere and there is no DNA link at that scene.
I suspect that the Doctor told Linn something which will ultimately exonerate Saga but Linn is holding onto for the time being, allow the court process to continue and back Saga for her own political gain and ultimately Hans' job.

reply

If you read the posts above you will know what the doctor told Linn.

It makes sense to me now, it must have been related to finding Henriks wife.

reply

It makes sense that it was about the Henrik's wife and her body was the one that Saga saw in his lab (the one he used 3d scanner on).

reply

She knows she is innocent. Doctor said that to Linn. She tried to tell something to Saga. But Saga overreacted and didn't listen. We'll see.

reply

Yes I agree that what he said relates to Saga. The way the character was used in each season pertained to Saga and evidence gathering. I thought he was going to say he found something in the file that finally pointed to the Muchausen by proxy.

We have no reason to think he was telling her anything about Henrik's wife as it's not related to the present case and Lilian would have been the one who would have needed to know immediately like that. Showing that would not have lent anything to the plot whatsoever but the suggestion that his comments pertained to Saga makes more sense.

He was telling her about Henriks wife.
While he did Henrik ans Saga went to Saltön.
When they came back Linn asked Henrik if he had talked to Lilian and he said he was going there now. Then Lilian was waiting outside his house and told him that the body they found a few weeks ago in the mud (the doctor was examining it in episode 7) was his wife.
It had nothing to do with Saga!
