For anyone who has also seen the US remake: are the original and remake different enough to watch both? I have seen the US version but hear so many good things about the original I might be willing to give it a go--unless it is the exact same story (I know it's the same plot, but does it play out the same with the same ending?)
I have seen all 3 versions... This is my suggestion to you.
Watch both seasons of the US version of The Bridge. Season 1 is basically a copy of season 1 of the original, but it has an extra story intertwined. Season 2 of the US version is unique and wraps up the US series.
Then watch the UK/French version The Tunnel.... although you can skip season 1 because its exactly the same story. But later seasons (its only had a 2nd season so far, not sure if they will have more) have been a unique story.
Then finish with the best for last. Watch the original series, but skip season 1 (season 4, which hasnt aired yet, will be the final season). Why skip season 1? Because like i said, all 3 series have the exact same story for season 1, except the US version included an extra storyline.
