Things that are better in the film than in the book
Of course the book is much better, but two points wew improvements in my view:
- The aliens were clearly after a resource (water), and not just attacking for no apparent reason. Also, they did not invade a second time. Makes it easier to swallow the "we meant no harm" pretext. I understand why Ender can be remorseful (even if I would not be, in his place).
- The actors are teenagers. Less absurd to have a teen leading an army than a 10 years-old.
