i feel this movie ruined the book

How can the movie ruin a book that has been published for 31 years? People aren't going to stop reading the book or the series, just because of this film, whether they liked it or not. People aren't going to stop reading the book or the series, just because of this film, whether they liked it or not.
Especially since virtually no one saw the movie.
I honestly can't understand how Card could have signed off on this film, I think his support for this movie, assuming it was genuine and not just 'spin' because he was contractually bound to say good things about the film, means that he should never again be involved in making a movie. share
I think he's indicated this was the only instance where he would sell the film rights. He doesn't believe any of the rest of the series are "filmable".π

i think the movie is okay, but I think that as an adaptation, it is really bad, it is a very poor adaptation of the source material.
