Why? (spoiler)
Why did they cut the woman in half? Couldn't they have just pulled the bomb off her?

shareIt looked to me like it was locked on there, that's the logical answer anyway.
shareIf they removed the gut and some fat they should have been able to slide that bomb right off her, but it was pretty hard to see exactly where is was positioned on her blobbed-up body.
shareMaybe if you don't know anatomy but we all have fat on us and if a bomb was strapped tightly to a thin body it still would not be easy due to the abdominal organs and some blood, though depending on how long the person's been dead you can't expect too much blood since it will have pooled in her back. They mentioned she was getting stiff, which is unlikely since rigor mortis doesn't begin for 3 - 4 hours after death (maxes out at 12 hours and then fades away over 48-60 hours). She would not be in rigor at that point but possibly livor mortis since she was laying down on her back.
I don't think it's possible for us to judge how it would be exactly sawing a body in two with a pocketknife, thin or fat. I think just getting through the muscles and tendons would be problematic as the fat would be easier to cut through.
