Was this meant to be a comedy?

For I laughed all the way through it - especially the scenes where they did what they did to the dead woman.

Having been stuck in an elevator on my own for nearly 7 hours, I know how claustrophobic a feeling that can be....pity that didn't come across in the film.

it definitely had elements of dark humour there- i think it's one of those situations where you have to laugh or else go crazy....even if you're just watching it in the audience

When the bomb squad or swat team officer poked his head in and asked "Did the bomb go off?", I lost it. I know there was a lot of blood but come on. Does it make any sense that a bomb going off in such a confined space would do so little damage? And especially the total of no damage to the elevator itself. Did he not notice there was no smoke or soot, and most of the people were mostly whole. That HAD to be a joke.
