Best movie. Well deserved.
This was the Golden Globes, the award decided by less than 50 foreign press voters that have been shown in the past to be very agreeable to being bribed to determine who they vote for, remember Pia Zadora won in the past for a laughable movie role. All it takes to get a win here is a studio willing to shell out some gold Rolex watches to about two dozen members of the foreign press and bingo you get a winner. Not saying that this was the reason Bohemian won, but when the award has a dodgy history no one will ever really know.
shareQueen has always been a much more beloved band internationally, so it helped give it an edge over A Star is Born I think.
Queen has always been much, much more popular in foreign territories(especially Europe) than in the States so since it was the Hollywood Foreign Press voting...
