Pleasantly silly
Pythons meet Douglas Adams (who has a writer credit many years after he died?) in a com-rom (cos that's the way it is really) with a likeable cast. I liked the aliens (both the special effects images and that they were played by the Pythons themselves) and Robin Williams as a dog and it had a brisk, efficient pace that left me wanting a little more.
I was unaware of this film and just happened to pick up a copy as a filler in a charity shop - which makes me wonder how, as a cinema going person, I totally missed it. The dates are funny though, possibly made in 2015 and released in 2017 or a mistake somewhere?
Finally, nice to see Terry Jones in the extras. I think he was always my favourite Python and I guess this was his last film - so not a bad effort to finish on.
