the only thing i disliked in this film was the character grant, seemed very oddly place and could have done without him, i also feel like Rob Riggle is a poor comedic actor very much on trick pony in a bad way, oh well wasn't all bad 7/10
My problem is that when Grant had him tied up, why didn't he, in one of the times his hand was free, just say "Grant die" or something? He had plenty of time. Hell, even if he killed Dennis Neil could have just revived him.
Yeah, I was thinking that exat thing; the instant he released his hand for the first wave I'd have just said "and Grant drop dead" and waved.
And if he got a shot off, so what? "Dennis come back alive, healthy and uninjured."
Hell, back in the flat when he was throwing him against walls, why not just say "Permanently loose all sexual and romantic interest in Catherine and all feelings of possessiveness regarding her." Problem solved.
I gota say, this film made me laugh a few times but Neil was a bit dumb about his power. Sure, some initial mistakes are understandable and you expect to fall foul of the monkey's paw literalism occasionally. But if he'd put any serious thought to it he could have used his powers far more intelligently.

In comparison to Bruce Almighty, I'd say this one's better. I laughed way more, and I think Neil was less of a moron than Bruce, but he definitely still did stupid things.
Panick ? Or...it takes him a lot of time to deal deal with his class of little monsters the way he does... and considering his reaction when he understands what he did... maybe he has no choice but not to do it again, ever. ? .
