'I didn't mean....'


A wish being (mis)interpreted literally to comic effect can only hope to be funny the first time.

When the joke is repeated ad infinitum for 90 minutes it becomes yet another reason to hate this film.

Simon Pegg alone is blame-free in this fiasco. Here he gamely throws himself into material that doesn't deserve the effort. He's always seemed like an ordinary guy, someone you know from the pub who got the break he deserved but didn't get big-headed about it and has probably still got the same mates from school.
