ok movie
The idea and message behind it was great just thought the last 5 mins were silly
shareI thought it was awful. Just plain ridiculous. The three current reviews on IMDB make out it's something brilliant.
shareThat's called opinion dean, you don't like it which is fine but obviously not everyone shares yours thoughts.
Don't you hate it when a signature looks like part of the post?
Or CynicalVision, the reviews were people involved in the making of/related to people in this movie.
And don't try and tell me that doesn't happen on here.
The film was rubbish. Fact.
Or dean2804, there are 3 people who disagree with you and happen to like this movie a lot. I find it funny that you think it's more likely that the reviews were posted by someone involved in the film rather than people having a different judgement than you. It's honestly hard to take you seriously when you are literally labelling your opinion as "Fact".
Nothing you have to say is anywhere near as useful or important as you think it is.
I find it hard to take you seriously when your defending this piece of crap movie.
But yeah, your right, different people like different things, so you and them can go on liking these God awful movies and I'll stick to liking decent movies.
And that's a fact.
I'm defending reason and logic, not so much this movie. But I can see, like the typical IMDB message board user, you're having some difficulty in separating judgement of a film from any and all other rational points anyone else might bring up, and it's not allowing you to participate in any sort of meaningful discussion. Thusly, I won't wait any more of your or my time.
Nothing you have to say is anywhere near as useful or important as you think it is.
lol OK, you don't "wait" any more time on me then. Thusly.
shareYup, my post had typos. Clearly, that makes you superior in every way.
Nothing you have to say is anywhere near as useful or important as you think it is.
THIS IS ALLIGATOR SPEAKING:
- ASSASSIN, I WANT YOU TO KILL DEAN!
- DEAN, I WANT YOU TO KILL ASSASSIN!
:p
Dean,
When you understand the difference between "your" and "you're" then I might be able to take your single line of "I hate it, so everyone who does not hate it is an idiot" style arguement seriously.
Until then, please take away from this that:
1) People have different opinions - this (unlike your attempt) IS a fact.
2) Thusly is not a sentence on its own.

My opinion is that it was total tosh... I predict that more people also think it is total tosh than think its great...
Those that think its great are entitled to their opinion but the overwhelming majority who think it is tosh makes the case for it being a fact that it is tosh....
It seems to have divided people pretty much 50/50 - which is fairly represented by the 5 out of 10 score on here.
shareAgreed, it was OK. Disagree that the "message" was great. I like movies that are unique (or at least try to be) and this movie has an interesting and unique plot to start with and keeps you guessing throughout. It just gets too preachy and in some places, too weird and annoying (characters reactions). And the end wasn't all that satisfying, especially after watching an hour and a half of plane madness.
4/10 for me
This movie was rubbish. The script and the acting wasn't up to much and in parts it was painful.
The only thing I felt after watching this movie, apart from how could I have wasted my time, was what complete douche bags the parents were.
They couldn't see fit to provide their child with self esteem, confidence and life values nor could they be bothered to pay enough attention to their childs life to see it going wrong. Yet they think they have the right to have another go with someone elses child.
Clearly they were completely mad ... so why bother with all the pretence, why even attempt to rationalise it.
The only people to blame when a teenage child commits suicide is the parents and/or carers ... unless they are suffering from intractable mental health problems, in which case it might still be the parents fault (drink and drugs while pregnant etc or poor quality genes), a simple failure to care.
ok maybe not the message but I meant it showed us exactly what people on these websites get upto and how curious some people are with the net...of course I didnt mean the punishment message x
shareThe best part of the movie was the cameras, and when the alligator said, "I wouldn't do that, Dave." Made me LOL.
Though, overall it was a SAW-like movie. Which I do not enjoy at all, and they've been done to death. (Actually, I enjoyed the first SAW, but once you've seen one of those types of movies, you've seen them all.)
As for the message, which I assume was to raise awareness and have people think about cyber-bullying. Well, that's just common sense, LOL. Bullying has always happened. It is my belief that teenagers aren't fully emotionally developed yet, and most are effectively sociopaths. I've noticed that I've become much more empathetic over the years; whereas in my teens, it was all about #1.
oh maybe I was unclear.. I know what the message was, I just thought it was a corny one. Don't do drugs, dont drive drunk, and now I'm adding 'don't cyber bully' to my life lessons sheet... gotcha!
shareNobody should go through the torture of being cyber bullied.

Absolutely agree.. but while watching a movie like this I thought they were going to go somewhere else with it. A topic such as cyber bullying would much better suit a more intricate and serious movie with a well thought out beginning, middle, and end. Not a movie where passengers are stuck on a plane, attempting to kill each other and then BAM! "DONT CYBER BULLY!" c'mon man... that was where it went?
Don't like. As, I said though.. I still thought it was OK because it was different.
I agree, the whole "don't bully" twist just appeared out of nowhere, it really surprised me.
