Whites is a comedy drama. Hence no laughter track. It's brilliantly acted and the relationships and lines are great.
Cheer up, you miserable people. If you want knockabout comedy, then stick with your Harry and Paul tripe.

I agree that this is a great show, one that I hope isn't added to the long list of great shows that are unceremoniously cancelled. I finished watching the first series last night and must say I immediately craved more. The role of Bib is especially well played by Darren Boyd. And Alan Davies as a dick-ish boss...I know him only from Jonathan Creek, but he pulls this role off wonderfully.
Recommended! More, give me more!
I WAS the laugh track. This series had me in stitches most of the time. It got better with each episode.
