Needs to pick up the pace
4 episodes in and we've spent a lot of time on a completely predictable conspiracy and a good chunk of irrelevant flash back scenarios developing a romantic relationship nobody cares about.

This scene had me groaning so load I probably woke up my roommates.
Just fast forward to the end. Monster always comes at the end.
shareTotally agree, and that last episode was especially slow paced. IMO it's been too much fluff that has added nothing to the overall theme of the series. Hopefully, things will pick up.
shareTell me about it. We're half-way done as of this post, and I feel like nothing has happened other than finding out that the main girl is a slut and her dad is a pig. It's sad that that's the only thing that stood out to me in a show about giant monsters.
I was hoping to see the rise of Monarch, see them studying and struggling to contain kaiju, and maybe even bring up the classic "are we really the top of the food chain?" philosophical debate along the way.
What we got was a CW-tier soap-opera where a bunch of diversity hires are trying and failing to act. Not even Kurt Russel can carry this. I'm out.
If I hear it that gets watchable later, I might binge-watch the last 5 episodes. Until then, I'll look forward to watching Godzilla Minus One.
