Solid Third Episode

Kurt Russell's appearance has taken the show into a new direction, and one that is equally interesting. I'm still really digging this show.

The appearance by Godzilla was of course fantastic, but it's unclear if he survived the point blank explosion of the atomic bomb. By any possible stretch of the imagination he should have been vaporized, but the second Godzilla film clearly established that somehow taking an atomic bomb blast on the snout strengthens him. I suppose this is no more ludicrous than the very existence of these creatures, and we have to accept it. In any event, I reckon he only became stronger, and we'll see him again soon.

The ice monster was pretty cool, but I didn't like the cavalier way in which they used it to kill Russell's Korean friend. That felt a bit cheap and gratuitous, and is the show's first misstep, in my opnion.
