New Board

I have created a new board. It is in the early stages but usable. There is a shout box at the bottom of the page that explains a bit about how to use it. I am not a crazy person trying to get you to join something so that you can pick up viruses or I can get private information on you. I have no idea even how to do that anyway.
I just created the board to see if I could and to make a simple place for people to discuss the show. I only have 3 shows on there right now and a general place to talk about whatever you want. I will add or delete as the board picks up a few members. According to what people want, I can add any topics you would like. If it doesn't get members by the time IMDB closes, I will simply delete the board.

Okay Mort, I joined. I have had a proboards account for years, so the recent crop of new boards have made it easy for me to join.

At least his way I can keep track of you and others while I watch all the boards settle down.

People don't seem like they want to join so maybe it is not going to go over too well. I will give it a few more days...

Are you admin? You need to add your name, like AdminMort. Also, give people a chance. It's going to take some time to get people to come around. People don't even post here when the show is on hiatus - except me.

They may be bookmarking it though, to lurk at until the next season comes out. 

BTW: At my boards, I create a second account to post as a regular member, and save the Admin account for when it's needed. You can give the second account limited powers.

I haven't figured everything out yet. The board automatically gave me the admin name. I am going to change that but haven't had time...

I just did a search on Twitter for IMDb and 'IMDb message boards' came up. Every other tweet contained a board someone had created. There must be hundreds or even thousands of message boards out there now on the interweb.   

Mort's board is real easy to use and it's just about Sister Wives. I think the board that was already up and running might be good. http://previously.tv/ Except I liked the one board I just looked at from Twitter. http://www.moviechat.org/ It's real easy. I went on & searched for Sister Wives and it was already there - no posts yet, but it looked really easy to use. However, this guy wants people to donate money. A lot of these boards will tank in a short period of time.  I don't know.
