santa claus conquers the martians

i can't believe it's getting around since a decade ago this new 21st century movie macabre series ran, well i didn't see it run on television because i don't live in your country but i got them as they were released one after another on dvd, i used to look forward so much for each dvd release to be put out because it was such neat old movies with elvira doing her best hosting yet, her series after this (titled "thirteen nights" or something) weren't released on dvd so regretfully i never got to experience that, previously i had enjoyed her 1980s movie macabre dvds, which only a part of the series was put on dvd, but this was such an improving moment from that and her previous series and video collections, often with the same feature movie in public domain, "santa claus conquers the martians" is one i keep returning to each holiday because i've never seen a movie so heavy on christmas visually like, it's not a moving story but just groovy and colour like to the extreme, and while most of it looks to be shot in a small studio with ridiculous almost kindergarten like setting, the dvd cover of elvira's movie macabre (double feature with another winter set movie) gives you another impression in higher quality with santa claus and reindeers in space featuring flying saucer, just packing this with more weirdness.
