Untamed Women

That was more fun than a barrel of leopards, but it begs the following questions:

1. What was with the random predators every other scene? It was leopard here, lion there. It was as though the editor rolled dice and stuck them in every few frames.

2. Was Trent hunting leopards when he was hungry?

3. Those were white-tailed deer the Count was trying to shoot when they arrived on the plateau, found only in the New World. See #1. Leopards.

4. OMFG, was that accent about? Lions. How is it the women spoke English if they were a lost tribe of whatever-they-were?

5. Why were there alligators in Africa? Lion.

6. Where did the sirens get their hair permed?

7. Deathless, never to be forgotten prose: 'You bad. You die.'

8. Where did the women get their lipstick? Leopards. Not to mention their wrestling lessons?

9. Last, but not least: however did they manage to invent the strapless bra? Not to mention the single strap halter top? Chimpanzee. They were savages.

1. If they hadn't included all the stock footage, the movie would've run a half hour. As is, it was only 70 minutes (though Elvira added another 14 mins. with skits and trailers).

2. Tastes just like chicken!

3. Erm... General Zaroff imported them?

4. The lost tribe was founded by English settlers who were escaping religious persecution. Turns out they never made it to the new world and all the men were wiped out by a virus native to that part of the world.

5. General Zaroff again?

6. They rolled their hair up in sticks when it got long (no scissors for haircuts) and discovered that if they packed it with mud, it would retain its curliness.

7. Ah, if only the real world worked that way.

8. Makeup was attained by smearing the sap of various native flowers on their facea. With no entertainment, they discovered wrestling was fun, so they would compete in annual tournaments against each other. The loser would be sacrificed to the gods.

9. Savage or not, they're women and women know how to accessorize.

some of these nonsense situations are even being commented by elvira, i never realised before it got brought up here how incredibly short the running time of this was, even with all elvira's added parts, speaking of that, when elvira put her hand on the barrel she actually looked to have been impacted, you wonder if that was planned or not, and the women sitting around her table later on, isn't one of them the actress from the austin powers movies? i know another is the "villain woman" from her (elvira's) own first feature length movie, an actress that very much seem type casted, i recognise her from other major movies, they had some good gags in their guest appearance, and elvira sure had a point of the lacking females at the start of this considering the title, very much of this look like stock footage, and it's entirely narrated, but this was really one of the more, or perhaps only, forgettable feature in movie macabre, the other flick on the same disc, wongo, was far more superior, if it weren't for elvira i had rather seen the similar setting (as mentioned i think) of a flintstone episode.

im like fred,
in lonesome cave,
without wilma,
i cant rock now,
roll around,
in black night,
fire without,
suddenly sparks fly,
flint painted you,
stone carved yabadabado,
since madeleine returned to peter blues.
