First poster since release....

...on this garbage forum since the game was released. I am really liking it so far. I am only 5 hours or so in but I am playing on hard and really take in all the sights and scavenge everything.

Game is gorgeous, on , my PC which was top of the line 2 and a 1/2 years ago it is still killer, am running everything on Ultra, I feel bad for anyone playing on Xbox.

I really like the story so far, except right in the start, in a myriad of ways, they tel you the main character is some kind of dupe, an artificial person. While that as a twist wouldn't be completely surprising based on the story of Bioshock, I would have enjoyed how things unfold a lot more (I think, havent beaten the game yet) if they faked it a bit more and gave Booker some backstory and tricked me into thinking his entire existence wasn't predicated on the happenings in the city.

Elizabeth is great so far, love how she runs ahead of your character when you are navigating towards goals, rather than just sticking behind you and never feeling present like a lot of companion NPCS. Combat is great, died a few times but if I could play those scenarios again I would do better. I wish you could free save, only because I like to have character moments on hand.

Will update once I have played more. Game is a little heavy handed with its themes but if the payoffs are suitable I won't mind.

Congratulations. I beat if over the weekend. Of course the game is heavy-handed with its beliefs. It is a Bioshock game. I have a feeling you are going to hate the endings.

Why would you think a movie forum would be the first stop for people talking about this game?
