WOW so good.. but..

Tiny problems are getting under my skin..

1) combat on skylines just is NOT good at all.. so might aswell removed it and just used them to change locations getting from point A-B-C etc... / combat at times seemed to be really "crowded" to many things coming at you once especially when the handymen attack, and you have people with rocket launchers and snipers shooting at you also. Felt less "bioshocky" during those times.

2) little back story to the special characters like the handymen.

3) gun upgrades didn't change the look of your guns.. (always loved that in the first two bioshock games)

I think a wider viewing angle would have helped with the skyline battles. It felt like I was walking around with everything zoomed in, being able to view more would have been beneficial for the action scenes.

You can widen the field of view in the options. Or you can change the .ini file to make it even wider.

Console :\
Really the whole experience would have been better on PC.

I loved the combat! As long as u know which vigors and or weapons work best for each enemy, the combat is very fluid.chaotic, yes, but its a controlled chaos.

I felt there was plenty of backstory for most of the Heavy Hitters; you see a Handyman pretty early on and if you pay attention when you do you come to understand how they were invented and what their function is in Columbia. Also there are a couple of Voxphones which give you the personal story of one particular Handyman.

The Motorised Patriots are pretty self-explanatory; they were built as museum displays and were later armed when things got tough in Columbia. I don't think you could really milk a decent 'backstory' out of that.

The Siren was integral to the plot so you got all the backstory you needed with her.

The Boys of Silence, however, did perhaps have less backstory than they could have, but I'm still in two minds about this. On the one hand I really want to know more about them, on the other hand the less you know the more terrifying they are.

I also really enjoyed combat with the Skylines; you have to make an active decision and effort to use them, but when you do, with a bit of practice, it's very rewarding and certainly made that final gunfight aboard the Hand of the Prophet more manageable.
