We, ze french, we like to use english words.

This guy called his Bioshock video "Let's delete the debt"

Is that a correct sentence ? Does it make sense ?

I'm not sure if you were just looking for clicks, but the exact wording in the english version of the game is "wipe away the debt."

That's my point.

But is "let's delete the debt" a correct sentence ?

It's grammatically correct. But to me, it's not going to sound right unless you're doing it on a computer.

'Deleting' really isn't used much outside of electronics in English nowadays. Google 'deleting' by itself and see how many pages you go before you run into context completely removed from electronics.

This sentence may be grammatically correct, but it sounds foreign (which I would expect, being French and all).

Thanks !
