Ok, I understand 'Infinite' now, but...(SPOILERS)

Ok, so I get how "Infinite" now means the Infinite realities that Elizabeth can bring, but is that was it originally meant as well? Looking over the old trailers/gameplay videos, I notice she was more Tele/Psychokinesis rather than opening tears in reality.

So yeah, did Infinite originally mean something different by any chance?

Maybe, in the original, infinite realities still existed but Elizabeth didn't open them and they appeared towards the end of the game. If you think about it, for the first half of the game, Elizabeth's tears don't impact anything story wise. they are just shown to illustrate the powers she has. Towards the end of the game her powers start to impact the story (rapture etc.).

So from this, one theory that could be possible is that the makers intended tears to appear towards the end but then decided the give the powers to Elizabeth...

That probably didn't make any sense...
