did anyone else predict the twists? *SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY*

while I didn't guess every twist, I'm afraid that I did successively predict a few, even before the game came out I assumed that Elizabeth was probably Booker's daughter, it just made sense and during the game when Booker said that he had a wife who died in childbirth I pretty much knew that she was his daughter

that twist was just a little too obvious I think, but then I even managed to guess the twist about Comstock, I knew that there was probably more to him then meets the eye and after the hall of heroes level when I saw his birth-date I knew something was up, because he was not as old as he looked, so in a vague way I thought to myself "wouldn't it be funny if Booker and Comstock were actually the same person?" though I didn't know for sure, but lo and behold I was right

however, I'm good at predicting plot twists, the only times they ever really take me by surprise is when I'm not expecting one to happen, which is why the twists in the first game shocked me so much, but this time I knew there would be a twist so I payed extra attention to every little clue and would theorize as I would play the game, so I can't really fault the game for it

thankfully though I did NOT see the Rapture cameo coming, THAT friggin' blew my mind!

Didn't really think much about what the twists could be before the game was released but yeah, I'd figure most would guess Elizabeth was Booker's daughter based on that conversation not too long after they met. I was fine with it in the end though because as you pointed out, Rapture showing up was awesome and imo very unexpected. Loved that part and being a huge fan of the original Bioshock it made it even better.

That's funny. I went through the whole game expecting an explicit Bioshock I connection. I was getting worried as the game progressed because if it hadn't been there I would have been infuriated.

No one cares. I wouldn't even care if years ago you had written your multitude of guesses down in a blog for everyone to see and look back upon now. Sorry but random thoughts regarding the possible twists in a video game doesn't earn you a Nobel Prize. And there is absolutely no way to verify your supposedly clairvoyant brilliance. How many speculations did you get wrong?

We all have a lingering knowledge of every twist that we have ever encountered. She's a he. That one's your father. This one's your mother and your sister. It was a dream. It was a sled. It was a madhouse hallucination. There was an unknown twin. He was a ghost or a robot all along. The killer's in the house or he's pretending to be that corpse on the floor. Blah blah blah. So what. That hardly makes you Nostradamus.

Well to be fair, he did say he knew that there was going to be a twist. I do agree with your point though. As you have said, when I knew there was going to be a twist, DeWitt being Comstock was one of the many random possibilities I came up with, since after all, there are only so many twists that you can come up with, and we have all encountered them before. I can already name a movie with a similar twist - Fight Club.

Yeah knowing there is a twist is the worst because you watch the film (in this case game) differently. It what has kind of ruined M. Nights career.

Interesting note, not really a twist, but a realization, which can be a twist...

"A realization I had about the racism in Bioshock Infinite: Booker didn't give any signs of being racist. He felt depressed about murdering all of the Native Americans in the battle. Comstock being the same person glorified his participation in the battle.

Booker wanted forgiveness for his sins. Comstock got baptized and felt his sins were forgiven. But in actuality he didn't feel his sins were forgiven, he chose not to view them as sins, he was just killing savages for God. All of the racism is to reinforce the justification of earlier life decisions Booker made. Hence he builds a city were all non-whites were demonized. Which kind of goes with a coin flip, he chose one path over the other."

I guessed some parts of the plot before reaching the ending. But I did not know what the solution to the problem of Comstock would be. So I was still pretty surprised and heartbroken. But I'm glad I stayed until after the credits, atleast there is a chance for Booker and Anna to have a happy ending

You cared enough to go on and on and on about it..........

Acknowledging the possibility of certain outcomes is not the same as predicting them.

I kind of knew that somehow Elizabeth was Booker's daughter throughout the rest of the game, however the two twists that did surprise me was 1) the Lutece Twin actually being the same person with opposite sex in different dimensions, which is kind of intriguing, and 2) for the life of me it would sound like an obvious twist of Booker being Comstock the whole time in hindsight, but I honestly did not expect that (I guess Comstock being so opposite in idealogy with Booker is one of the reasons why I was shocked by the revelation, but upon further reflection does make sense). Definitely an ending I won't forget.

Oh, and the brief return to Rapture KICKS ASS!

Great game, instantly one of my favorite games ever played.

I'm with tommy on this. Seeing Rapture was great! You know what would have been better? Songbird was Elizabeth's keeper and protector in Columbia, so it would have been great to just about before the very end to see a little sister and a Big Daddy to reflect how it came full circle. Another little girl trapped by a protector that was in essence sort of their warden too although the little sisters actually "liked" their Big Daddies.
