I get the ending alot but what i dont get is, What happened to Dewitts daughter before he became Comstock, Did she die or something and also where is the wife.

He didn't have a daughter.

He only had a dauther when he rejected the baptism. His wife or lover is said to have died giving birth, and we dont know much else.

Comstock became the prophet by using the dimensional fractures which rendered him infertile. Comstock never had any child.

Dewitt's daughter is Elizabeth, formerly known as Anna Dewitt. Comstock took Anna.

Dewitt's wife died in childbirth. Comstock's wife became a uh, ghost.
