I rented it out but im pretty sick of fighting theses guys. I find it really boring and repetitive.
It has a great story, looks beautiful, good soundtrack and voice acting.
I'm up to the last level where I have to save the ship and protect the core stuff. I died and stopped but i dont really wanna go back and play, i just find it too repetitive.
It does have great combat and stuff but i just dont like it.

You don't need to worry about your health as much as you do the cores, watch that bar instead. Most of the enemies will attacl it rather than you, unless you get in their way. Just make it to the point when the zepplins show up. Use Songbird to take them (2) out as soon as you can. After that just clear the deck and you're done.
I'm pretty sure you can change the difficulty in the options.
I agree, compared to the original Bioshock the gameplay was really dumbed down and boring. When you get annoyed, that you have to kill your way through those guys just to get to the next audiobook in the story it is not a good sign.
