Baptism as one of the game's sides?

Have little knowledge about this title and am just going to get it. What is it to do with Baptism and Christianity in general? Does it have any religious presentations (crosses, churches, special outfit, etc.)?

Would be very grateful to anyone, who explains this all, without giving out much of the plot.

Religion is a huge factor in the game. Anything I tell you could spoil the story for you, so its best to play it and find out for yourself. The game deals with other themes like racism and prophecies. Baptism, even though it may seem insignificant at first, actually is significant, epsecially to the ending. Basically, the main antagonist, Comstock, has built his utopia of Columbia on the foundation of religious ideals and prospects, but tuned to a more personal approach that rejects the "sodomn below".
