Spooky moments and plot points........

I can find only one spooky moment in the game.

Where you find that dimensional hole that lets you hear part of the Cyndi Lauper song Girls Just Want To Have Fun. The way they recorded that snippet of her song it just sent shivers down my spine..... Never get spooked in video games but that moment did it for me.

Any others?

Also on the whole opening tears or whatever they want to call them. How on Earth can you get that kind of power in 1912 unless they're using some kind of power generation beyond the limited technology of the time? I know suspend your disbelief but on my 2nd playthrough I started thinking of such things..

Did you actually play the game? It's explained how its done.

Elizabeth was born with the power to open up tears due to the fact she got her pinky sliced off when Comstock tried to take her back to his time after taking her from Booker. She had the ability to open up new worlds as she explained it, and her abilities were powerful enough that tears were scattered around all over Columbia. The tower she is improsined in supposedly drains her ability to open up new worlds. That's why when the tower is finally destroyed in the end, she can open up new worlds and reveals she can go into alternate dimensions.

And it's been revealed in audio diaries that the Letucess saw through these scattered tears and that's how they created Columbia. As well as Fink, the mechanical genious in Columbia, created most of the technology including the Songbird and the Handymen when he saw "man infused with machine" in a tear, a refrence to Rapture in the original Bioshock.

As for scary moments, when you go to 1980 in the asylum, that was actually a pretty scary part. Especially when you open the door and you turn around and see those loud horned persons right behind you, a throwback to the original Bioshock.

Yes I did play the game, twice ...... and know how Elizabeth could open tears but even if the Luteces were so clever they must have stolen the idea from the technology from a parallel universe....

Either way I still think you'd need a lot of raw power to open a dimensional tear.

Well some diaries said that they made lots of experiments, and the girl was the key to unlocking the technology or something like that.
