I've yet to play the game on the "easy" or "normal" difficulties, so I found no shortage of challenges. There were a few times where enemies would surprisingly stand back (and be sniped accordingly) rather than engage me, and indeed the motorized patriots tended to get stuck sometimes (not having enough sense to navigate around obstacles, that is), but not the human foes. I didn't bother to invest much in upgrading any of the vigors except for my favorites (possession and return to sender), because I couldn't afford them and wasn't entirely satisfied with their effect, but I quickly latched onto "return to sender" and made it a point to upgrade it. Prior to obtaining it, I only ever used possession, shock jockey and bucking bronco (for being inexpensive but effective). I never even used the "chaining effect" kind of upgrades. As for the problem of the perfect rating, I can understand why anybody would think it doesn't deserve it, but I also understand that the people who rate things don't always think things through before casting their votes. And developers don't use ratings to determine whether a game is bug-free or not. They'll know that better can just about always be achieved. By the way, I've never played the other
BioShock games, so I have no preconceived notions about how a game in that verse is supposed to be.
