Pedestrian in the Extreme

Not only was the story a mishmash of elements from other films (all done better elsewhere), the "action" sequences were just embarrassing. Not only were they poorly choreographed, but I sat through them thinking this is what this is? Just brawn? No brains required? Brawn wins?

Everything about this was so lame I had to look up the director's other credits, and now I just wonder how he got this gig?

Actors say lines but there's no subtext ever, no pacing, no mystery, no sense of foreboding, nothing. There's no art here. It's all paint by numbers. Even the casting was largely pedestrian.

What a total flop. Did a group of investors get this made as a tax write off?
