I absolutely loathed that recent The Martian (2015) movie.
Can't stand Matt Damon and his acting sucks more than ever in that.
Love The Last Days of Mars (2015). Really good movie.
It's a wonderful world where people are allowed to have their own taste preferences, isn't it?
For the record, I gave this movie a 3/10 and "The Martian" an 8/10.

Thought it was kinda generic and uninspired. Solid performance from Schreiber and decent visuals but otherwise pretty plain. Doubt it gets much hate, just not much love either.

Lol and you must be english or from the UK to defend this english mess? Or you must work for the movie. I mean even your "loathe" rare expression from the UK tells where you're from. Also, you should buy yourself a brain. Just sayin'!
shareI can't say why others disliked it. But I thought it was unoriginal and poorly executed. I couldn't understand a lot of the whispered dialogue without subtitlites, either. And I am British. It was also blatantly obvious that Shrieber would be the last man standing, which destroyed all tension.
All in all, a waste of time.

Personally, because it was a waste of a really good cast. I could forget the total predictability of the story if they'd managed to sustain some tension or excitement in it's telling.
