GREAT FAMILY MOVIE

I watched this film & I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a good solid 'feel-good' movie. Sure, it's whimsikle, far from fact but, just get IN the holiday mood & enjoy!! It's so nice to see a film that gives some comfort, shows caring & the importance OF family. Sharing, connecting, spreading kindness & cheer! Especially for those who serve to keep us ALL safe, Military, police, fire & rescue, ambulance etc. Surely those with a heart, will enjoy this film in ONE way or another, I did. And I didn't have that 'Merry' feeling. I AM thankful I did see it!!

I watch this movie every year on Hallmark and really liked it, so I bought the DVD. In the DVD, there's a scene where the main character reads to her nephew from the bible, first from Luke about Christ's birth and then in the next scene she's reading the "this is my beloved son" chapter from Christ's baptism. I do not remember seeing this on the televised version. Does anybody know if I'm just not remembering it? It was so nice to see a Christmas movie actually recognizing the true meaning of Christmas!

I like it for the performance of Doris Roberts as Mrs Merkle. I saw the first 'Mrs Miracle' movie recently. But I think I like this one better.

I like this one better that the first Mrs. Miracle too. Quinn Lord was/is a talented actor.

That's him. He was one of the rare child actors who actually played close to his real age. He was 10 or 11 when this movies was made and he was 17 in Date with Love. He'll turn 18 in February.
