"Fans" touting how "good" this show is have SUDDENLY gone AWOL...

.... now that this crapfest has been CANCELLED!

My, my, how convenient. No longer any use trying to create a "buzz" for this on social media, and calling anyone who disagrees with you a bigot?

What happened to all these "long time Quantum Leap fans" (e.g. paid internet shills) posting threads like this:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
To those of you complaining about this being "woke"... Grow up.
This show is WAY more "colorful" than the original... In an AWESOME way!
this season is pretty good - season 2
Ship episode was really good.
I don't mind the lead, he's actually pretty good
Ian was looking spicy this episode
Rather enjoyed the 3rd ep.

There's not much good to say about this one.

I'm one of those long time QL fans.... You quoted one of my posts above... Given how the series has been cancelled... What exactly do you want me and other fans to post? You want me to bemoan how terrible NBC is for cancelling my favorite series reboot (not to mention the original) AGAIN? You want me to beg and plead with people who can't even see what I'm writing (nor care)? It's pointless.
I would love to still have something to say about this series, but since NBC cares only about what makes them the most money, rather than what adds the most substance to their network, here we are. I was looking forward to more. But in today's world viewer reception means very little; network execs only care about getting us to watch to make money, not to provide entertainment or substance.
This series was plenty good. It just wasn't a huge money-maker. And in the 21st century, that's all that really matters to the media. :-s

That sentiment goes back much further.

Maybe so... But it's certainly easier to see in the 21st century.

I couldn't stomach it after seeing Twiggy in a pair of high heels and heavy lipstick.

All I was looking for was some good popcorn throwback fun to getaway from the World, the Internet, the phone and life in general..

But it was so in your face and couldn't be ignored.

Probably in my top #5 favorite original series, but I stopped watching after the first episode.
