Ooooh! I know what Ben Song's destination is! (Theory, obv)
I was watching a review of the new QL, and how he just didn't like it because it didn't feel like the original series... and then it dawned on me... Ben's going to leap into the bartender who Sam Beckett thought was god, so he can bring Sam home! That would explain why the bartender knew so much about Sam and QL in the series finale. Since Ben would have known all of Sam's leaps, from past records, he could have figured out what leaps would bring him to that point in time. Since we already know that SAM knew he could control his leaps (even without realizing it), Ben knew he could control HIS leaps, which would, in time, allow him to leap into the bartender on the day Sam leapt into himself.
It makes a lot of sense, and would also explain why neither Scott Bakula nor Donald Bellisario are talking about it... They want to spring it on us at some point, so that we fans of the original series can get the closure that we wanted when the original series came to an end. It would be a PERFECT way to both wrap up the loose ends from the original series, and to add purpose and direction to the new series.
