Casting
I just read this book and while I like all the actors chosen, they certainly cast adult leads (Dafoe, O'Connor, Neill) a lot older than one would expect from the novel.
shareDafoe was a great choice, masculinity mixed with tenderness. What was missing though was hints of his backstory which would have added another layer to his character.
