Boring Film?

Was it just me or did anyone else find this film boring. Don't get me wrong it was visually striking with beautiful scenery, but the plot just didn't seem to really get moving until abut the last 15 minutes of the movie. I've seen a lot of high ratings though so I guess I may have just missed the point. Opinions?

Gets worse with each rewatch. The sentimental actually is what continues to hold up, like the scene with the Boss singing Hey girl is your Daddy home?

Catch the jist of people with severe conflict and perhaps you'll enjoy it more.
