Nowhere near as awesome as the first film or even the second one which was a huge drop in quality.
Also, I noticed the character never fought hand to hand. Is that a reflection on the character, Washington or both?
The first one is much better, but I would say I prefer this over the 2nd. The 2nd was just too over-the-top, especially the final battle.
I think that was Washington being old and not wanting to put in the work.
Made the same mistakes as part 2. They made McCall a bland brutal killing machine ALA Jason Voorhees. The filmmakers are taking way too much inspiration from Rambo and not nearly enough from the tv show it's suppose to be based on.
