Saw this trending and thought it was some low budget shitty action flick that was getting released in cinemas to earn a couple mill but apparently it's quite a popular and well received action series. I'm really out of the loop on this one.

My old man, who is 60, is asking when I can download this for him. Like pops it only came out yesterday, hold your horses. Sheesh.

So this is one of those throw back action flicks that appeal to middle aged men or something? Cool. I'll have to keep an eye on the digital release for this for my old man.

The title, 'The Equalizer', is one I've heard before. If you asked me what it was I'd have probably said some action-thriller from the mids-80s to early-90s or something, starring who the fuck knows.

My ignorance astounds me.

The original Equalizer TV show from the 1980s was definitely a boomer show, I've never actually seen it.

But I'm not sure about this movie series.

I'm 44 and I liked the first 1 from 10 years ago when I was 34. I think the primary target audience here is older millennials and Gen-Xer's.

I liked this movie better than the second movie. Whan the mafia tried to kill Dakota was really a first in seeing at a movie for me,
