Scott Pilgrim vs the World meets Scream?

That's definitly the vibe I'm getting from the trailer.

Having seen the movie at Fantasia last year, I wouldn't say you're that far off. But add a dose of 'Kaboom!' and Funny or Die and you'll be closer to it.

It's great, reflexive, tacky and inventive fun.

Saw a sneak of it Monday night and yeah it does feel a lot like Scott Pilgrim but mashed with other teen movies and horror movies, not just Scream. Elements of a lot of stereotypical teen movies.

And a dash of donnie darko

More like The Breakfast Club vs Scream....lol
Either way, definitely looks like something I want to see.
Alot of good movies are opening with this on April 13th and just my luck I'll be in Brazil starting the 13th for 2 weeks. Definitely want to see this and Cabin in the Woods when I get back.

It's Scream meets Pretty In Pink meets Freaky Friday meets Donnie Darko meets The Breakfast Club meets 3 O'clock High meets The Fly meets Ferris Bueller's Day Off meets Roadhouse meets Clueless meets Spaced meets Scott Pilgrim meets a case of Red Bull meets a handful of peyote. In a blender invented by Dr Emmit Brown and powered by plutonium.

Spot on..

Just sayin'

The way it was filmed definitely reminded me of Scott Pilgrim minus all the insane graphics - but I really enjoyed it. It's definitely a mashup of other teen/horror comedies plus you can't go wrong with blood, a slasher killer and teenagers!

More like Prom Night + Scream + The Breakfast Club.

It has a lot in common with Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I loved both, for the record, though do think Scott Pilgrim is better.

They just took scraps from a bunch of movies, put them in a blender and hit "Frappe"

it totally reminded me of Todd and the book of pure evil....which i described as saved by the bell meets tales from the crypt....

Todd and the book of Evil, high school setting, gore, comedy, highly recommended..
