shareIt sure did! I thought there should have been a nod to that in the script. The Andy Margolis plotline lends itself to referencing a line from The Way We Were. I mean, Barbra's character raises her child without knowledge of her real father. It would have been perfect. Just like in What's Up, Doc? when Barbra quotes the famous "Love means never having to say you're sorry" and Ryan O'Neal saying it was the dumbest thing he's ever heard. :)
The Way We Were is my favorite Barbra movie, and The Guilt Trip is my second favorite.
