Spot the missing Actor - IMDb

'Prodigal Son': The part of the sister of the murdered man, Maggie Warnock was played by actress Jill Halfpenny.

Now we, that's primarily my good lady wife, have enjoyed Ms Halfpenny in many roles and none better than as the winner of the BBCs 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

Now, IMDb has no mention of her in the cast listing of 'Prodigal Son'. Not the character and not her. Right, so we check Jill's filmography - and despite a couple of acting roles in completed parts that are yet to be published, no mention of her being in 'Vera'.

Conspiracy theory? Nope we cannot fathom why her important part in the episode was 'airbrushed out' and in the actual episodes end title she only appears after the miniscule role of Angela Curran as the 'Verger'. What gives?

Has anyone associated with Jill or the production staff at IMDb have a torch with which to illuminate this mystery?
