Only picture of a person in the cave, and we can't see all of it?

So the only drawing of a human in the cave is the one we can only see half of. Why didn't Herzog bring in a couple poles to put a camera on to reach around the side? Surely something could have been done to get us the full picture of the human drawing.

Did you see the whole movie? They did indeed film it in the second half of the movie, using a camera on a stick.

Oh okay, I'll check it out again. I guess I missed that part. Does seem ridiculous now.
