Anyone recall a film shown on PBS about someone buried alive..?
I just watched The Revenant and it reminded me something I saw on PBS way back in the early 80s. The setting was around the same period as this film, maybe closer to Colonial times. There was a scene where someone was buried alive and he later crawled out of his grave. I remember it was nighttime when he crawled out. Some Indians saw this and thought he was a divine spirit or really spooked out. I don't know for sure, it's been so long.
It might be 'Man in the Wilderness', is there a scene like that in that film? I don't think offhand it was that film, though. I think it was a Masterpiece Theater production of something but I have no idea of what. I suppose it's possible this was a telling of the Hugh Glass story or a variation of it.
I know its a longshot but I curious if this rings a bell with anyone.
