So women would watch a 3 hour movie to see half of Leo's dirty crack

reply

Unfortunately, it was like a second or two and didn't show too much. Not even him getting out of the horse.

has to do with your body absorbing the heat of the horse. If he still wore his wet clothes, he wouldnt get warm.

reply

Your body radiates heat in the form of infrared radiation. You want to trap that radiation and convert it to heat energy. A covering is most efficient if the radiation can travel unimpeded by clothing and then be reflected back onto the person as heat. This is how Mylar emergency blankets work. Other materials do the same thing just not as efficiently. Clothes wouldn't help this process.

No time to wash his clothes after they've gotten mucked up with horse guts.

Even a normal sleeping bag gets warmer when you're without clothes in it. That's what they teach u in the army in Europe, during winter night/day getd -25 -35 degrees celsius.

reply

His clothes were cold and wet. They would've blocked some of the horse's heat.

Either way it did make me want to watch Empire Strikes Back, I was waiting for him to say "And I thought they smelled bad on the outside."
