What do you think happend to the bear cubs.

First of all, I think this movie was great. 10/10 no doubt.

This question is probably a bit silly, but I can’t stop thinking about it.

The “bear fight scene” got under my skin and deeper. I was actually frightened, when I watched this. At the end when he finally killed the bear, two young cubs came near a ditch and stared at their dead (probably) mother. What do you think happened to them later on? Did they manage to survive without her?

Like any other orphaned cubs: Taken in by an orphanage, ran away and joined a gang.

They died, either from the elements or from predators.

I was more worried about those poor bear cubs than Leo lol poor babies :(

In the book the guy who finds Glass mauled with the mother on top of him shoots one of the cubs and the other runs away. So there's half an answer for you.

I'd assume the one that ran away survived though since they were pronounced 5 months old and 100 pounds. Easily big enough to take down something to survive on.

Orphan bears usually die.

These were fairly good sized cubs, though, so were probably just entering " adolescence". They would have been with their mother long enough to learn basic hunting and foraging techniques, and the only other predator in that area to compete with would be wolves. The bears would have an advantage in that they are omnivores, and the wolves would be less interestedcin the fish that dominates the grizzly diet than in larger herbivores like elk or bison.

Juvenile bears would have a hard time surviving as orphans nowadays because we have decimated the natural freshwater fish population via pollution, and have provided the temptation of easy foraging via garbage bins. Back then, though, I think they would only be in trouble if they were baby cubs.

They met up with a rabbit and asked it 'Does your poop stick to your fur?" The rabbit replied: 'Yes, why do you ask?' So one of the cubs picked up the rabbit and wiped his butt with him.

Nothing happened to them. What might happen would be that they'd be attacked and killed by wolves.
