I've read the book and seen the movie many many times, and both are excellent. But I was wondering if anyone else thought that he may have Asperger's? From the way he acts to the things he says, to the reaction of other people. It's just a thought.

From my understanding Charlie was deeply affected by the traumatic abuses and events from childhood and this formed his personality as a teen. asperger does'nt "develop" liie that but is instead a genetic or physyological disorder and is just "found out" usually at an earlier age. You notice at the end when hes better thanks to the doctors help that he looks pretty relaxed and social. Aspergers is not that easily changed...
