John C. Reilly, although known for random and stupid jokes, is even above this show. The 'Deliberately' bad editing, his stupid faces, just all points towards awkwardness, for him only. Seriously, tha fuhk?

shareHe's been involved with this show for over 3 years now, you dingus. They've had quite a few a-list celebs as guests. His character was just a favorite. Maybe it's therapeutic for him to get back to his roots and improv. And, hell, who knows? Maybe it's genuinely, "Fun" for him? Good for him for doing what he enjoys.

sharestreetsker97, I hate to say lame *beep* like this, but you obviously don't 'get' the comedy. Not many actors can act convincingly as an average person who doesn't belong in front of a camera. It's supposed to be awkward. Look up public access television on YouTube - this is what they're making fun of.

i dont think its too far a stretch from those recording studio and action movie scenes in boogie nights.
tim and eric arent always funny but all the brule stuff has been for me so far.
I can give it another try but from what I saw, was John just doing this because he's got nothing better to do. Get him working on another movie, he was great in Talladegga Nights, Step Brothers, The Promotion.
sharestreetsker97 - You couldn't be more off dude. I gotta agree with the guy that said you just don't "get" this comedy style. This whole new wave of "awkward/pointless comedy" actually has a huge following and it's only getting bigger. It's similar to the whole "Youtube Poop" movement. I don't want to call this "stoner comedy" but it kind of is lol.. I think this stuff is hilarious though, and in a twisted way it's actually really clever. Taking A-list comedians and bringing them down to this "low budget" level is awesome. And Tim & Eric have had everybody from Will Ferrel to Zach Galifianakis do skits. It definitely doesn't mean they don't have anything better to do, I think they just genuinely love doing this.
