I have to say I love this series and am sad that we are only getting 6 episodes. So far the Relationship and "Pruppets" ep's have been my favorites.
So do you guys think we will get a DVD set of the series at some point?

I think we will eventually. My hope is that they have a second season of 6 or 10 episodes and then release it all together, like Xavier. I think they can handle two seasons, but more than that would increase the risk of pushing the character too far.
shareI thought it wouldn't hold up to a full 15 minutes of Dr.Steve Brule but they pulled it off incredibly, the character is very well portrayed and John takes him very seriously (he doesn't want to talk much about Brule in interviews), I think the main issue is getting interesting and diverse topics for the episodes. Anyway, the first 6 episodes may be to just see how the public responds to the show format.

They should put out a dvd set with these six eps, plus the stuff Tim and Eric did for Funny or Die to fill it out. Sunshine Brule even made an appearance in one of those. T'would be perfect.

adult swim has the history of keeping shows on permanent hiatus, thus never releasing any dvd sets. their adult swim lineup changes more than the number of black cocks that enter kim kardashian and her sister.

shareafaik, you can only watch the 6 episodes on youtube. and the quality is terrible as i've seen, so no thx.. i'll wait for something better or an actual retail dvd release. they don't even play reruns on adult swim ever. i have to say though that Assy Mcgee s01 and s02 recently came out on dvd, that was great news to hear. so props to cartoon network/adult swim on that achievement.
